The Acoustic Guitar Project inspires musicians to write an original song and record it live in one week. The project is active in forty-two cities and has involved almost four hundred songwriters whose songs can be heard on theacousticguitarproject.com. The songwriters who were part of the recent Nashville project share the songs they wrote: Jay Bragg recently released his debut album, Honky Tonk Dream, and performs at Alan Jackson’s AJ’s Good Time Bar on Lower Broadway every Saturday night. Raquel Cole released her EP Personal Truth in 2018. Nathan Nelson has been featured on bills at American Legion Post 82’s popular “Honky Tonk Tuesdays” series and at the Nashville Palace. Presented by SunTrust. Ford Theater. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. Limited seating. Program pass required.
