Songwriter Session: Natalie Hemby and Barry Dean

Natalie Hemby and Barry Dean have each written songs for the Little Big Town albums Painkiller, Tornado, and Breaker. Hemby wrote the group’s hit “Tornado,” Dean wrote “Day Drinking,” and together with Luke Laird, they wrote the #1 hit “Pontoon.” Dean also wrote “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools” (Tim McGraw); “God’s Will” (Martina McBride); “Rum” (Brothers Osborne); and “Think a Little Less” (Michael Ray). Hemby’s other credits include “Automatic,” “Baggage Claim,” “Only Prettier,” and “White Liar” (Miranda Lambert); “Downtown” (Lady Antebellum); and “You Look Like I Need a Drink” (Justin Moore); as well as her own critically acclaimed release, Puxico. Presented in support of the exhibit Little Big Town: Power of Four. Presented by SunTrust. Ford Theater. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. Limited seating. PROGRAM ADMISSION

Attendees must have a Program Pass to guarantee admission to this event.

Program Passes are free with Museum admission or membership and distributed two hours prior to the event at the Museum's box office on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is general admission and limited.

Members-only benefit: Museum members may also reserve their Program Passes in advance by phone (615-416-2050) or via Reservations@countrymusichalloffame.org. Reservations are accepted until 48 hours before the program, or until the program is at capacity.  Tickets reserved by members are available for pickup at the membership desk in the Museum’s conservatory.
